The Focus Remote Dashboard is a simple display application designed to allow users to view marine navigation and weather information in graphical and tablular format. The application receives Bluetooth NEMA sentences and an displays the information on any device running Windows 10.
For example, if you are running the OpenCPN navigation software on a laptop at the nav station and enable the "repeater" communication option, OpenCPN will broadcast the NEMA sentences it receives from your installed GPS, boat speed and wind instruments.
The signal broadcast by the navigation application running at the nav station is processed by the Remote Dashboard running on a tablet or second laptop and is displayed in tabular and graphical format.
Click on the download button to install the Focus Remote Dashboard.
Use the control panel to connect to a Bluetooth device sending NEMA sentences and view current information about location, wind, boat speed and heading. Click on the "Trace" button to view a trace of the NEMA sentences received.
